Let’s Talk Genealogy

All year long  – 9:30 – 11:30 am; First Wednesday of the month

Genealogy can be confusing. Sometimes, you just need to be with some friends to talk about a research problem. Maybe you want to share a breakthrough you have been working on for years. That’s the purpose of “Let’s Talk Genealogy” – friends talking about genealogy and family history. Drop-in meetings are held on the first Wednesday of the month starting at 9:30am in the Synergy Room of the La Posada Pavilion, 670 Park Centre Ave., La Posada. Contact education@azsags.org for more information.

Storytellers – Writing Family Stories (Classes)

October – May – 10:00 am; First Tuesday of the month

If there were no stories to pass along, the history of a family would be only names and dates. The Storytellers class meets at Friends in Deed on the first Tuesday of the month (October through May) at 10:00 a.m. to noon. This is a class for those who want to write to preserve their personal stories and those of ancestors. This is not a drop-in SIG; you must register in advance to join the class. The class is full for the 2026 – 2027 meeting year. Please contact Becky if you are interested and you will be placed on a wait list for a vacancy

For more information, contact Becky McCreary, Group Leader, rebeccamccreary764@gmail.com for more information.
